Madison Lintz, an American child actress and popular television actor who gained fame due to her role in the Walking Dead's horror drama series The Walking Dead. Her portrayal of Sophia Peletier made her a famous child actor in the decade that followed. In recognition of her role she was named the Young Artist Award nominee in the category of Best Performance in TV Series by Young Actress Support. Born to an actress mother Madison was exposed to the glitz and glamor of the world of showbiz at a young age. Her first exposure to acting was by her mother when she was six. Growing up on the other side cameras, it didn't take too long for her to become an experienced performer. Her career began by making commercials, and then gained recognition when one of her commercials for a national Golden Corral commercial was broadcast all over the United States. When she was 11 she was chosen to play in the role of Sophia in The Walking Dead. The popularity of the show led to other acting offers and she soon began to venture into movies, as well as playing support roles in the movies Parental Guidance as well as After.
